Wordpress vs Drupal

Some people are purists, they get obsessed that one thing is better than another. Our view is that there are always differences, and exceptions and it's really a matter of preferences, and personal match.. like dating.. only more serious some would say..

Would you use an electronic industrial can opener, or a simple hand opened can opener? What if there was just one can? What if there were a 100?

You see it all depends what you want and need. There are times when a simple blog is all that's required, and then Wordpress can be great. Especially as there are of lots of simple themes out there, and some quite easy to use widgets and plugins.

Blog vs Fully featured Community Site

At other times, you don't want a blog, you want a fully featured site, maybe with a shop, many users, complex logic. Yes this can be done with Wordpress, but you'd be hacking away at php.. or using lots of extra plugins, and code.. Well in that case why not just start with the right solution in the first place? That's where Drupal comes in..

It also depends how much experience the users have.. At the end of the day.. what's important is the site, it's functionality, and what people that see the site think about it..

So if you're going to use Wordpress, we can help, but we'd also recommend you check out Woo Themes.
